Her background spans private legal practice, institutional advisory, and senior fiduciary roles at Ernst & Young and Fidelity Personal Trust Company, where she advised on complex trust structures, tax strategy, and fiduciary decision-making.
Today, through Blackbird Trust Services, Deanna serves as an independent trustee and advisor, providing objective guidance in situations that require both technical expertise and sound judgment – particularly where complexity, family dynamics, or long-term planning considerations are involved.
Known for her ability to communicate complex matters clearly and thoughtfully, Deanna brings a measured, practical approach that helps families and their advisors navigate important decisions with confidence.
She holds a J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law, as well as a Master’s degree in Professional Writing from the University of Southern California.
